Why do I need lighting?
Lighting allows you to dynamically transform spaces and create extraordinary environments that create memorable moments for everyone. It’s a big deal.

What lighting do I need for my event?

How do I know what different lights do?
First, know that when working with Bellevue Lighting, you’re working with the experts. We know what lights will achieve your vision.
Secondly, our website has a TON of information on our equipment – from uplights to pin spots, we have all the information available under “Events” or “Rentals”.

Special Effects
What special effects do I need for my event?
We have lots of experience in a variety of events and carry lots of different special effects technologies.

Will my venue let me use fog machines?
The Technical Stuff
There are two types of smoke alarm systems: particle and heat. Particle sensors go off when they meet a threshold of particulates (fog creates particulates). These are no fun for fog effects BUT different techniques or fluids can help to avoid an alarm.
Are fog and haze safe? What are they made of?
We can also make fog with dry ice (frozen liquid nitrogen) or regular ice. But a combination of the 3 is best.
Do snow machines make a mess? Do they damage fabrics or carpet?
All of our fluids are non-toxic, odorless, and safe for pets and people. We have multiple varieties of fluids that do different effects – quick evaporating snow to snow that builds up over time.

What if I don't know what I want?
We’ll help you figure out what works best in your space and maximize what we can install base on your budget.
How do you install lighting?
