Project Overview
Bellevue Lighting was honored to illuminate the NACE Gala 2024, a fundraiser themed “Stars Over Havana” at the King Street Embassy Suites. Planned by Shiloh of The Bubbly Soiree, this event blended the vibrant energy of 1950s Havana with the elegance of Old Hollywood. Proceeds from the event supported The Assistance League of Seattle’s Operation School Bell, benefiting local students in need.
Design Concept
Our design aimed to merge the warmth and excitement of Havana with Hollywood’s sophistication. The event’s lighting created an atmosphere that transported guests to this rich, nostalgic setting.
Lighting Debut
We debuted our newest lighting addition at the time, our Nightfall Table Lamps. With the rise of sleek lamps at classy bars, these can also be a great alternative to candles. At the touch of the lamp, you can pick between three LED color choices.
Fundraiser Support
The Stars Over Havana Gala wasn’t just a night of celebration—it was a night of giving back. Bellevue Lighting was proud to contribute to an event that supported the Assistance League of Seattle’s Operation School Bell, a program that provides essential resources, clothing, and school supplies to underserved students. Our team was deeply inspired by the event’s mission and thrilled to play a role in an evening that raised vital funds to support local children and enhance their educational experience.
Lighting Solution
Bellevue Lighting created a multi-faceted visual experience:
- Wash Lights: Warm tones of purple, red, and white enveloped the venue, echoing the tropical warmth of Havana nights and the classic charm of Hollywood.
- Nightfall Table Lamps: Debuting at this event, our Nightfall table lamps added a sophisticated glow to the tables, enhancing theluxurious dinner atmosphere.
- Grand Floral Chandelier on the Perch: Working with Wendy at Flora Grand, we suspended colorful floral arrangements on our bamboo lanterns to create a stunning grand chandelier outside on the perch.
- Rosco X-Effects for After-Party: The after-party “lounge” was transformed with Rosco X-Effects, casting a smoky, fire-like moving glow onto the ceiling, adding energy and drama to the final portion of the evening.
- Low-Lying Fogger for Entrance: A dramatic entrance was created with a low-lying fogger, offering a cinematic touch as guests entered the dinner and auction.

Partnership for Success
Through collaboration with Shiloh from The Bubbly Soiree, Wendy at Flora Grand, the NACE board, and fellow NACE sponsors, Bellevue Lighting integrated stunning floral installations and lighting designs that aligned perfectly with the “Stars Over Havana” theme.
Conclusion
Bellevue Lighting’s work at the NACE Gala 2024 brought the “Stars Over Havana” theme to life through thoughtful and innovative lighting solutions. From the wash lights and chandelier to the glowing floral elements and dynamic after-party effects, the evening was a resounding success, all in support of a worthy cause.
