Bellevue Lighting stepped in at the last minute to take over the lighting for the Pacific Place Plumbing 75th Anniversary celebration at Showbox Sodo after the previous vendor unexpectedly backed out. In collaboration with Showbox, we quickly designed and executed a stunning lighting solution that embraced the event’s gold theme and ensured the milestone celebration went off without a hitch.
Design Concept
The design was focused on elegance and opulence, with a gold theme running throughout. Bold neon elements and warm lighting were integrated to create a sophisticated yet celebratory atmosphere, transforming the venue into a visually striking space for the anniversary.
Lighting Solution
For this event, Bellevue Lighting implemented the following features:
- LED Neon Tunnel: A glowing tunnel that made a dramatic statement, setting the tone for the event.
- Chandelier with LED Neon Tubes: A custom chandelier with neon tubes added a striking modern touch that complemented the gold theme.
- Neon Sign: A custom neon sign directing guests to the outdoors area of the event.
- Uplights Inside & Outside: Uplighting both indoors and outdoors enhanced the venue’s elegance and brought the gold theme to life.
- Bistro Lighting in the Games Tent: Bistro lights illuminated the outdoor tent, adding a fun and inviting ambiance for the guests enjoying the games area.
- Custom Gobo: To further personalize the venue, Bellevue Lighting projected a creative and unique custom gobo, enhancing the space’s aesthetic.
Addressing Unique Challenges
With the previous vendor backing out last minute, Bellevue Lighting had to act fast to take over the planning and ensure the lighting matched the vision of the gold-themed celebration. Our close collaboration with Showbox allowed us to smoothly navigate the tight timeline, ensuring every detail was perfectly executed. The addition of the custom gobo gave the space an extra creative touch.
